Originally from Netherlands in the late 18th century, stroopwafels are thin waffle cookies filled with caramel syrup. Traditionally, they’re warmed by placing them atop a hot cup of cider, coffee or tea, softening the filling for a chewy, delicious treat. Stroopwafels pair perfectly with a cup of Aspen mulled cider.
Ingredients: Enriched Wheat Flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Glucose Syrup, Modified Palm Oil, Sugar, Liquid Whole Eggs, Soy Flour, Molasses, Salt, Butter, Cinnamon, Oat Hull Fiber, Soy Lecithin, Baking Soda (leavening).
